How They Got Here

Uptown Punk is a Memphis born classic punk band. They are skilled, energetic and LOUD. Founded by experienced musicians in the summer of 2019, the current foursome has rehearsed regularly and is tight. Comprised of Blake McVey, (vocals) Stephen Pitts (guitar), Scott Peterson (bass, backup vocals) and Alessio Mauro (drums), the foursome is influenced by everyone from the Ramones, to Joy Division, to the Misfits, Social Distortion, Danzig, the Beatles and more. Experience and range allows the band to blister ears with frenetic (yet danceable) tributes to seminal bands such as the Ramones and the Misfits.
